Amy Sedaris is best known for her role as Jerry Blank on Strangers with Candy. She's completely unrecognizable as the character of an outcast, user, boozer and loser, but still finds a way for the audience to care about Jerry Blank, something only a comic genius could pull off.
Strangers with Candy aired for three seasons on Comedy Central. Worldwide Pants produced the feature film which was written by Amy Sedaris, Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello. It is one of the funniest films I have seen in years.
