I was standing by Edward Furlong's publicist who was about to take me up to the penthouse to record the Furlong Drinks with Tony interview when I saw James Duval signing Donnie Darko posters across the room. 

I grabbed the publicist's arm and asked, "Is that James Duval?"

After his replying yes I said, "I want to interview him," with extreme determined intent in my voice.

Casually, Chris the publicist said, "Let me introduce you two."

We walked over and I asked him if I could take him out for drinks on Sunday and gave him my card.  James, introduced himself as Jimmy and after seeing the Drinks with Tony logo was all, "Fuck yeah, let's do it".

I met him at Dalva in San Francisco and we talked about Gregg Araki, Mad Cowgirl, Donnie Darko, nudity in film and a bunch of other stuff that is included in Segments 1 - 3 below.  Segment four is one hour of footage from our conversation with some repetition from the three segments broadcast on the live radio show.

Then I partied with him and his girlfriend and an ever growing entourage until 5am, but that's another story for another time.
