Seth Greenland
hosted by Tony DuShane
Seth's debut novel THE BONES was released on March 14, 2005 by Bloomsbury. The book has received great reviews in many papers including the San Francisco Chronicle. I was immediately intrigued with the book since it was based on a self-destructive comedian, so I ran out and bought it. The book was so fun to read, I finished it in one night. (I was up until 6am.) Then, after contacting Seth's publicist to gush over how much I loved the book, I met Seth at Vesuvio's and the rest is history.
Seth is very funny in person....I couldn't stop laughing at his cynical remarks...he has written for comedians, but has never performed....he could've fooled me.
Enjoy the interview.

You'll notice there's actually a Drinks with Tony theme song. The full song, written and performed by Jim Swiller, is at the end of the interview. The Swillers have a demo CD available and will be performing in San Francisco in the coming months. Get in touch with me if you'd like to be added to The Swillers' email list or purchase their CD.
