Steve Kilbey is the lead singer of The Church. The Church has been recording and touring for 26 years and continue to have a loyal fan base. Their song, "Under the Milky Way" was a top hit in 1988 and continues to be used in movies and television, including Donnie Darko and most recently in an episode of Prison Break.

I chatted with Kilbey over the phone while he was at home in Syndey, Australia right before he was to embark on a five week tour of the United States.
