Wesley Strick
hosted by
Tony DuShane

Wesley Strick's first novel, Out There is the Dark, is set in 40's Hollywood and reads like intelligent film noir.  Jerry Stahl says of the book that it's "an old school Hollywood blockbuster...A terrific, grab-you-by-the-throat movieland epic".  I couldn't express my experience of reading the book better than that, so thanks Jerry.

Wesley has also been a screenwriter for the past 20 years, working on films like Scorsese's Cape Fear, Doom, Wolf, Arachnophobia and True Believer.

Wesley, his wife and I hung out at Dalva in San Francisco.  His wife was very quiet when the microphone was on.  :)

Enjoy the interview.
