Barry Adamson is the author of the memoir Up Above the City Down Beneath The Stars. The book documents his growing up in Manchester, the bands he was a part of including Magazine, The Birthday Party, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, and more.

He’s also a film composer and solo artist with some fantastic records to his credit including Moss Side Story, Back To The Cat, and As Above So Below.
