Ari Gold is the co-author of Father Verses Sons: A Correspondence in Poems, with his late father and author Herbert Gold, and his brother Ethan Gold.

Herbert died when he was 99, in November 2023.

We discuss how living in San Francisco leads to longevity of life, how poetry created a communication bond that was extremely intimate, the 4:39 rule to poetry, living under the legacy of his father, and so much more.
