J. Ryan Stradal is the New York Times best selling author of Kitchens of the Great Midwest. His latest novel is The Lager Queen of Minnesota.

Stradal grew up in the midwest, and now he lives in Los Angeles. Also, he used to be a college radio DJ on WNUR. Hey, I used to be a college DJ, too. Great fun.
