Marianne Leone #289
Marianne Leone is the author of Five-Dog Epiphany: A Memoir.
Marianne is an actor you may know from shows like The Sopranos. Her book tackles the grief of losing her son with her husband actor Chris Cooper and how their son Jesse brought dogs into their lives.
We discuss how her an her husband have stayed together for 41 years, when they met in acting school exactly how their romance started, her push for Chris to take the groundbreaking part in American Beauty, her activism to create inclusive classrooms for the quadriplegic and how that manifested a healthy social circle for her son Jesse and his friends before he died, and so much more.
