Michael Elias is the author of Bender’s L.A. He’s also the creator of the TV series Head of the Class and has a long list of TV and film credits.

We chat specifically about The Head of the Class episode that was filmed in the USSR in 1988, as well as our mutual admiration for Henry Miller, and his new novel Bender’s L.A.
