Hilary Plattner is the author of A Momma Puzzle: A Memoir. In the book she puts together the pieces of her mother who she lost in death by suicide when she was six-years-old.

We discuss the importance of destigmatizing suicide discussion, even the lame algorithms that won’t let the word ‘suicide’ be used. Her process of bringing up these wounds of the past, including the griefs and the joys, and how to understand why suicide happens.
